What the RK3588 Edge AI Board is for

The RK3588 is the platform customers move to when an entry-level GPU box turns out to be too hot, too large or too short-lived for an industrial installation.

Eight cores in a big.LITTLE arrangement, three NPU cores totalling 6 TOPS, and enough video plumbing to decode 8K or eight simultaneous 1080p streams — all inside a fanless enclosure drawing around 12 W.

It is our recommended base for multi-camera inspection cells, digital-signage head units driving several screens, and autonomous-mobile-robot compute stacks where every watt is taken from the battery budget.
